Kolkata, 11th February 2023: Arohan Financial Services Limited, a leading, digitally advanced NBFC-MFI in India, committed to sustainable business practices ensuring future readiness through a well-knitted Environment, Social and Governance (ESG) model has established a Mini Science Center for deafened students at the Deaf and Dumb Government School in Kolkata.
The Mini Science Centre, developed by STEM Education as per the school curriculum of the West Bengal State Board, comes equipped with 80 new scientific 'Plug & Play' models. The project has been handed over to the school authority by Rohit Raj, Manager, Corporate Social Responsibility of Arohan, in the presence of Shri Shyamal Kr. Sen, Ex-Governor and Ex-Chief Justice of Calcutta High Court, Shri Swapan Banerjee, President of Bengal Olympic Association, Smt. Upali Roy, Director of Mass Education, Chairman of District Primary Education Council, Shri Subhojit Mondal, District Education Officer and Shri Karthik Chandra Manna, President of Deaf & Dumb School, along with over 100 students.
